Home Learning activities for the week beginning Monday 1st June.
Below you will find the learning activities suggested by Miss Nixon, Mr Little, Mrs Hillier and Miss Johnson for Year 2 children this week. Try to complete these activities by Sunday 7th June as we will be refreshing the page for the following week!
Message from your teachers:
Welcome back everyone!
We hope you had a lovely half term and enjoyed the warm weather.
All your teachers will be back in school this week, working with reception and year 1, as well as keeping your home learning resources going! We will, of course, find time to call you and see how you're getting on too.
Keep trying your best, and be good for your parents!

If you still want to enter into Mr Strickland's DT competition to design and make your own pop-up slider card (and the chance to win an airplane engineering kit), all the details are below.
Here is the EYFS/KS1 design brief - click it open and view on your device, or you can download it and print it off. If you would like some help with the researching and designing stage, I have put together these printer-friendly sheets - but feel free to use your own if you want! I can't wait to see what the children of EYFS and KS1 get up to!
Everything you need for Monday is right here! We hope you enjoy our new book - The Snail and The Whale!
Tuesday's learning is here. Please try your very best to use your neatest handwriting to answer questions.
Everything you need for Wednesday's home learning is here. Have fun!
Thursday's Home Learning is now available here. We hope you enjoy and look forward to hearing how you get on.
More information about Maths
We have given the children some daily maths work on the PDFs based on what we would have been learning at school: Addition and Subtraction. This should be completed in the Green Home Learning book alongside using Mathletics and Times Tables Rockstars.
Your child has been set new learning on Mathletics. Please download the app or login online using the login details that they have been given. If they do not have their login details, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with "STUDENT LOGIN" in the subject field.
This week’s activities are linked to each day's work. Last week's Mathletics was a huge success so we are looking forward to seeing your work this week. Once the activities are completed, your child should be able to access the Mathletics games and other activities. These activities should be completed each day.
