Reception bubbles had mindfulness sessions in the outdoor classroom, they practised their breathing techniques and created lovely mindful monsters. Why don’t you have a go at this lovely activity at home, instructions below.

We loved singing and dancing with our choir today. It was great to see everyone smiling and enjoying themselves. Things may have to be done differently at the moment but we can still connect with each other and share the things we love doing.

Welcome to the Super Mind Hub.

The Super Mind Hub is where you will find resources, support and links for Additional Educational Needs. Here you will find activities and support for Speech and Language, Social, Emotional and Mental Health, Autism and Dyslexia. Games, activities and links for additional educational needs will be added over the course of the next few weeks. Many of the activities are hands on and fun to do and anyone can join in at any time.  

This week the focus is on speech and language, emotional literacy support and there is some support and guidance regarding dyslexia. Also, included in this week’s Super Mind Hub are some social stories to help families and carers explain to what the corona virus is. 

There are links to help to support families with their child’s social, emotional and mental health and well-being too.
